Collectibles-General (Antiques)/1931 pinball

Question
I have a pinball machine that looks exactly like the 'Whiffle Board', the first coin operated pinball machine.  The ONLY difference is where it says Automatic Industries, ours says Pajo Amusements...otherwise all the writing, everything is the same.  I purchase this in Canton, Texas in the 60's and have never allowed anyone to use it.  It works.  I would be interested in selling this., any idea where or the price?

Answer
Hi Ann, While there is some dispute about which is the first pinball produced, Whiffle is certainly one of the earliest.  From a historical perspective, this may ad some small value, but the reality is that most pinballs from the pin-and-hole era(1931-33) are not terribly valuable.  Most will fall in the $200-350 range, of which yours is one.  Larry
