Question

Ideal Pepsi machine
Hi Rodger,
I've been reading a few of your responces concerning soda machines and am quite impressed. Hopefully you'll have some answer for me. I recently purchased an Ideal slider machine with the model # ID50-5C-2. I can't find any information about this machine and have found no pictures which look like mine. It is in exceptional shape, but I need the slider for it and would appreciate any info concerning this machine or the slider. The slider size is approx. 15 1/2" x 27".
Thanks, Russ

Answer
Hi Russ,

I swore to my self I would never answer another soda machine question again but, after reading you nice and genuine question tells me I have to try, and to never quit if I have something to share which can help someone. Well, I am here with you, but sadly I have never seen this machine or know anything about it. By the looks of it, it is a later slider then I have ever seen. Here is a place were everyone is into just what you have here, go to: http://www.colamachines.com/forums/index.php and your going to find your answers there just for the asking.

Thank You Russ, you made my day!

Sincerely
Rodger Knutson

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
