Question
I have a mills novelty penny scales.  floor model, about 6 ft. tall.  cast with the back design of like a clam shell.  black and white for the background and numbers (white)  pointer is redish.  Can you give me any information on it's year, worth, etc?  I would appreciate thing you can help me with based on what I've described.  thank you, pattie

Answer
Hi Pattie, It sounds like you're talking about the Mills Trylon scale.  It was named after a tower built at the 1939 World's Fair in New york city.  Which is the date of when it was made.  Value not very high, say $200-300.   Larry  www.coinoplibrary.com
