Question

Playland Rifle Game
I would like to know the current value of a 1959 Chicago Coin's Playland Rifle Arcade Game. I understand appraisals require as much information as possible....this is what I know. The exterior of the game itself is in good condition, from what I can see of the interior workings the seem to be in fair to good condition...however because of the age of the cord/plug I do not dare to plug it in, thus your appraisal should show an as is quote and one that assumes working oder, (just because if there is a big difference in value I would have the cord looked at).

Answer
Hi Pam,  This game is going to be worth $150-200 in non working and $300-450 in working condition.  Typically fixing a cord will not address the problems games get from sitting unused for so long.  There are very few buyers for non working games.  If you check under "Amusement Devices" in your local phone book you should be able to find someone to service it.  Good Luck!  Larry
