Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Juke Box

Question
At my Grandpa's house recently and we were listening to his juke box and I
was just wondering how much it would be worth and if the value goes up the
more years pass. The only information I got was what was on the machine. It's
a said Select-O-Matic 100, Seeburg High Fidelity. Its in really good condition
everything works, and the sound is crisp and clear. Just curious and told him
i'll look into it.

Thanks for your time

Answer
Hi William,
I am not that familiar with jukeboxes, but this machine was from the 1950's. I have seen that model sell in the 500-1000.00 range. Lower to mid range price collectibles have fallen in price the last couple of years and I would expect that trend to continue.
 Thanks, tom

Expertise

I am able to answer questions on old coin operated machines. These include vending machines such as gumball or peanut or other machines such as trade stimulators that did not dispense a product but were positioned on a store's counter to bring in customers or stimulate trade. I specialize in machines by Pulver, Zeno, and Mansfield and also any old cast iron or wood machines.

Experience

I have been collecting these type of machines for about 10 years and have traveled the country to antique shows and auctions.
