Question Checking on the value of this Japanese slot machine. Has Beatles Yellow Submarine pic on bottom. Not a full size slot machine, but box like and stands about 32 inches from floor. I will send an image as soon as I can get a decent image. Thank you!
Answer Hi Kelly,
I am sorry but I stay away from these, I have never even own one. They were made in Japan and evolved from the Pachinko machines. Most laws in some states consider these new slots. As for value, I see these everywhere selling in and around the 200.00 range. There on ebay, and piles of them are listed in Crags list. That is about all I know about them in a nut shell. There are imported to the U.S. in containers full for resale and dealers sell them for a range of prices but I see the used ones offered around 200.00 on average. Be Careful in selling this as some states my go after you if your state doesn't allow new slot machines. They did sell as skill games and on tokens, so this skirted the law in some states for a time being but some states don't see them that way. Instead they see them as new slot machines.
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
