Question
Could you give me info on this reel? Subject no. 3016, serial no. 21. Patented Nov.5, 1895 and Jan 25, 1898 stamped on the reel. The mutoscope is manufactured by International Mutoscope Reel Company date unknown
I am mainly a slot collector so I don't know a lot.
I do know that tons of these were made for at least 30 years.
The cast iron clam shell models are the most desirable.
The theme of the reels affect values. Sporting events of famous people / teams and girlie shows are the most valuable.
