Question
I have a little mother sewing machine. how do I thread it, it doesn't seem to use a bobbin, or at least I don't see how it has a spot for one. the bobbin area has a rotating "foot" that will catch the thread FROM THE Side of the needle. if you have any pictures of any such, one thread machines of any brand, I can most likely figure this one out. Thank you ever so much, ed

Answer
Hello Ed,
The only threading instructions I have for a toy machine is: The Betsy Ross. I also have a manual for the Kayanee machine.
I am happy to forward these to you if you think they might be of help to you.  Please send me an email request to: xtahoeviews@yahoo.com and put Betsy Ross and Kayanee in the subject.
Thanks.
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
