Question
QUESTION: Good Afternoon,
I was given a table that is solid mahogany. The table is app.24inches around it has a single pedistal that goes to four feet. they all have brass caps. The table was involved in a shop fire and though not burned I think the heat made the joints all loose. It has a drawer in it to everything is here, I just don't want to ruin it, as I was a Mason and you know how this will workout if I hack away. Is this table worth fixing right. If so you want it? No sence in ruining something that can be made to look as it did. I'm not kidding. I would rather someone with an eye for these things, make it nice. I got it for nothing and it would be a shame to waste or make a Gorrilla glue mess of it.I can't stucco it.
Let me know,It will do something for the enviroment. and be useful again.   Thank you,  Ray Casci
PS, it's solid, I can see the side of one piece and it's solid wood No veneer glued on.

ANSWER: I can appreciate your wanting the table to find a good home. I would be interested but where is the table, where do you live?

 Thanks,
  Rob

QUESTION: Hello Rob,
The table is in Connecticut. I live in Ansonia. I would rather ship it to someone that can give it a home, than let it get more loose or have parts go missing. Pease let me know if this is doable, and we can make arangments..
Ray....

Answer
First I would ask you email me a couple of pics of the table so I can see what we are talking about. Email me at andant@embarqmail.com. Also if you would, try to get a ballpark estimate on the weight, size so we can get an estimate on the shipping. The table may not be worth the costs involved. My zip for shipping is 27055.
