Question

Toy and Joy Machine
I have four Toy and Joy machines on stands. I would like to know how old they are and if they are worth anything?

Answer
Hi Dave,

These are to new to locate in my antique information, I am good at the antique stuff and that is what I do here, and they may be older but not old enough to be in my material or the books just yet. My guess as to value would be about 25 to 40 bucks a piece. For a better idea as to value, and just what there bringing on the market, you might try going to ebay and searching for toy and joy vendors, I am sure you will find a lot of them and can see what the different hammer prices are for them at auction, to get an idea for what they sell for. Sorry that they are just a little to new for my information.

Thank You, and I hope this helps you find some answers.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
