Question
Hi,
Im not sure if you know about this stuff, I've been having a hard time finding information on it. I have a American counting machine Patented Nov. 16. 1897, and also a Redington Counting Machine Patented Oct. 13. 1908 F.B. Redington Co. Chicago. If you know anything on either of them that would be really great thank you. Cathy

Answer

Cathy,

That is the the worst feedback rating that you gave me, that I have ever received from anyone! I told you I was not an expert on these, next time I know just to reject answers like yours, that do not have anything to do with my expertise. I always try to help people even if their questions are presented to me out of the right category, but never again, thanks to you for destroying that, and my ratings here. By your question you knew your were in the wrong category in the first place, I hope you drop the thing on your toe! "Krma"

May The Karma find you......

Hi Cathy,

I don't know much about the coin counting machine, I am not a route operator, so it's just antique coin operated machines. You could type in coin counter in the box above and see what you find or go to ebay and search for them to get an idea of auction selling values for them. At one time I seen a few old coin counters and seamed they were for sale in the 400.00 range. Sorry I can't help you more but this is just not in my field of knowledge.

Thank you

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
