Question
I have three pieces of sea grass furniture that requires a small amount of repair in the wicker work. They are labelled from the P.Derby Company of Boston. Because I believe the pieces to be close to 100 years old I want to make sure I have them repaired appropriately. Can you recommend a company in the Toronto, Ontario region who would do justice to this furniture? Pictures are included. Many thanks.

It looks like you have some very nice items. I've only seen a few pieces of seagrass furniture as they didn't last as long as reed and were discarded.
I'm sorry to say I don't know of any restorers in your area. I checked on the Wicker Woman's list of wicker repair shops and could only find her in Minnesota. You might try asking at some antique malls or contacting the restoration dept at a museum to see if anyone is in your area.There are a few people listed under chair seating at the WWs site, it's possible one of them might be willing to do it. Your last resort would be to take a road trip to me in NC!!
