Question

Hope you can help.  Got this machine back in the mid 70's and have always wanted to know a bit about it.  Pretty heavy so hard to take anywhere and was scared to move around too much.....had it put into working order about six years ago (new springs and touch-up on the paint and broken glass)
Could not find a serial #, from other posts it seems to be a Mills or Buckley from the 1940's?  Was hoping for an expert evaluation of actual Brand and year this slot was made....and if possible, retail or insurance value.

thanks a bunch for taking time to look!

Hi Jeff,

Sure I can help you on this. Your machine is a Buckley, but could very well be a Mills. Buckley rebuilt used Mills parts to rebuild machines. They added there own design to them and in some case even made there own reel mechanism, but mostly new cases. I'll attach some information for you here that you can enlarge and print with will have this machines history and value, alone with the date range for manufacture of this machine. Nice slot machine Jeff! The attachment should tell you everything you want to know and more, but if it doesn't just let me know. Oh....And thank you for posting a photo, this tells me all that I need to know to research the machine you have.

Thank You

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
