QuestionHello im looking for some parts for my 82 bally e series. I seen that u told a guy that was asking u questions that u had some parts for these old machines. I sent the 2 boards that are behind the reels out to a guy in vegas and i never got them back so i would be looking for them and also the hopper board and motor and ribbon cable. I dont have the game chips so i might have to change the game tittle unless u have it. The game i have is top payout is 1000 3 red 7's triple bars pays 300 double bars pays 150 single bars pays 60 tw0 red 7's pays 60 any bars pays 30 it is a 3 coin slot. If u could help me out it would be very appreciated i want to see this machine working. I live in Alaska so there is not to many parts out there. My number is or just email me whatever is easier thanks.
AnswerHi Mike,
First this is going to take some doing if you are sure your going to want to bring this baby back to life. As your saying, it is missing the personally EPROM which is vital to the game installed in your machine, and has to match the glass award amounts, play lines, type of game, (left, right, or both left and right pays), multiplier or buy a pay, Criss cross, etc., type of game and the reel strip numbers and symbols layout. We might be able to figure out just what the number is for personally EPROM that your machine is missing, but this will take a little doing, and I would also need to know your reel strip numbers which are stamped on the very bottom of each reel strip. What model is your machine, it should be on the handle side, at the bottom on a metal serial number plate. We also need to figure out if your machine has E-1000 type boards in it or the E-2000 boards which is also needed to determine which reel reader boards you have. There are two different types, one uses 5 volt readers and the other uses 50 volt readers. Each printed circuit board in a Bally machine has an assembly number printed on it somewhere, and this number will tell us if it's A e-1000 type board or a board for the E-2000 type model series. So this make it easy to know what you have in your machine. Can you e-mail some photos of your machine to me? the outside, award glass, inside, the printed circuit board on the left side of the cabinet which is the MPU board, and your old coin hopper board if you have that? You can e-mail me, and any photos, to: Jackpot7@q.com Then we can figure out just what you have and what you need to see this thing run again ok? Do you have a manual for this machine, if you need some, you can find them here:
