Question
QUESTION: Could you please tell me what would be a reasonable price for a TONOMAT Panoramic 200 1959 Jukebox.  The body of it is in good condition but it needs a bit of work to get it working.  Many thanks in advance.

ANSWER: Hi Corinne,

Not an easy question as value depends greatly on condition. But I have something for you, I have some information that will solve all the questions in a file, if you will e-mail me directly I will be happy to attach this file to your e-mail and return it to you. Would you mind doing this, as I have this information already, and it is ready to e-mail to you right now. My e-mail address is Jackpot7@q.com and I'll get it right to you when you e-mail me. If not, I'll give you some idea here on the allexperts site if I don't hear from you right away.

Thank You

QUESTION: Looking forward to receiving your rough idea on price on the allexperts site.  Thank you.

Answer
Hi Corinne,

Well I did the best I can without knowing what grade this jukebox is in, there is a formula for determining grade and grade has everything to do with value. Also being a European made machine not much show up in the information in the U.S.A. as for value. So, to find you some information on you question I had to go to the pro's to find some kind answer. First to Bill in California and he has more parts and jukes then anyone I know, a great guy, and his site is: http://jukebox-parts.com/ and here is his answer:

Roger,

It is a European machine, probably of most value over there.  I will ask a German friend of mine to contact you.

Bill

Well Corinne, His German friend did contact me and here is his answer just for you:

Hello Bill, hello Roger,

without detailed pictures and desciptions we can't give any serious answer.

In Europe these models go from 300 - 2000 EUR.

It might need some time to find a buyer in the US. Might be possible though because it's exotic.

We make most parts which usually break, are worn or missing for the PAN 200.

Best regards   -  Oliver

There you have it Corinne from several experts across the world, figure value at anywhere from 300 to 2000 EROS depending on grade and condition and how you go about selling it.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
