Question
Hello Barbara.  I was going through my deceased mothers sewing kit and found a couple of interesting items.  The first, and most interesting is a small pack of sweing needles and on the label is Sharps 6 - Harper's War Pack, Best Quality Gold Medal NEEDLES, Made in England.  Inside are 8 needles.  The second small pack of needles is an orange color and is definitely old.  The package says - SAVE THAT BUTTON This Needle & Thread Will Do It.  This package contaings 5 threaded needles with 48" duPont Colorless Nylon Thread will Belend with Most Colors.  R.U. Co.  Chicago, IL, Packaged in Hong Kong *Trade - Mark.

I can also send pictures if that would be more helpful.  Thank you!!  Helen

Answer
Hello Helen.  Needle packets and needle booklets are collectible, however, there isn't a awful lot of value since they were mass produced in high quantities.  I don't see an actual question, so I am assuming you are looking for their value.  Your best bet is to search on ebay for similar items and see what they sell for.  Condition is everything - the highest priced packets/booklets are complete and in mint condition.  If I am making the wrong assumption, please contact me again.  Hope this helps.  Barbara
