Autostereoscope
Autostereoscope
I have a 1 penny Autostereoscope. It is unmarked. Inside I have all the metal spindles and the light bulb fixture that goes on top. Any help in identifying the manufacturer or value is appreciated. Thanks

Answer
Hi Terry, Youy Autostereoscope was made by Bollands Amusement Supply Company of London, England.  Sorry, I forgot to include that it's from 1937.  That's why it has a large penny slot as the English pennies are more the size of our 50 cent piece.  It won't work on US pennies, so you'd have to find some old English coins to make it operate.  Your machine in nice condition would be worth around $1000, but the problem is that it is supposed to have a long legged base it sat one to make it a floor model machine, and it shoud have a large fancy sign on top of the machine.  With both of those missing, assuming you have the film and working, you machine as it sits would be worth $300-400.  I have a friend who collects the English games and he may be interested in your machine.
