Question
I am trying to determine the appropriate size gum balls for the above machine.  The internal wheel has an opening that measures 15/16" and I tried to use 7/8" gum balls (.92).  However they seem to jam the machine. I intend to buy the next size smaller gumball, but wanted to see if there is another size gumball that was designed for this particular machine and internal wheel opening/mechanism.

Answer
Mark,

I have found it to be trial and error finding the correct gumballs for antique machines.  Today's sizes are different from years ago.  Gumball use to be perfectly round and now they are not.  This can also create problems and jam antique machines.  I can not give any recommendations in regard to your specific machine since I don't own the machine, but as I mentioned earlier just keep trying different sizes until you are satisfied.

Good Luck,
Chad
