Hi James,

Hey your going to have a lot of fun with these slot machines James, and it's a lot of enjoyment in learning about them. To remove you belly glass, (the glass under the reel window) you might want to have a little help. The glass comes out in one unit with the glass frame and lights, it's only held in place by two screws, and you need someone to hold it while you remove these screws or the whole bally glass unit might just hit the floor, as it can fall away sometimes when that last screw comes out. There are two screws and one plug to pull and it will come completely off the machine. Then you just have two very small screws on the frame, and the frame will slide up and off the glass, so you can remove the glass and get at the lights. I'll post a photo here that will show you where to look for these two screws as they are hard to find. If you need manuals for this machine you can get them here:

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
