I want to have this chest refinished and I don't know what kind of hardware is appropriate for this piece.  The current hardware on the two top drawers covers the keyholes on those drawers.  It is a Geo. C. Flint piece and I will send pictures.  The full front picture is dark; however, one picture from the side which shows damage to the veneer, does show some of the front.   Thank you for your time to answer my question about the hardware.   Sincerely,   Deanne Zelenak

I would suggest you look on the web for similar items and see what type of hardware they have on them. You could also go to antique malls that carry furniture. Take some pictures. One of the best sources for hardware is Van Dykes Supply, they are online. They have a large assortment of good quality hardware. You might be able to find some original at antique markets or on ebay.
