Question
Im trying to identify the desk, it has scallop and dowel dove tail drawers. also what is the center of the shelving area used for( the scroll looking pieces or wings)
)
Your "C" roll desk was made in the 40-50s by the truckloads. It would be impossible to come up with a maker. Most of the time, a label would be in the center drawer but not always.This type of desk was used a lot in schools and various types of Government offices.
The 2 little wings you a referring to are pencil/pen holders.
