Question

vendo v-144 coke machi
I am in the middle of restoring a coca cola v-144 soda machine. This machine has a sign on the front of it that says " treat yourself to a coke " with quite a few clip art pics around the sign showing people doing different things while drinking a coke. It also has a bust silhouette of a man drinking a coke on the lower right of the sign. Unfortunately my sign was destroyed during the restoration.

I'v been looking for this sign everywhere with no luck.

I have started to re-create the sign and it looks really good except for the images around the sign. If I could just get a picture of the sign or individual shots of the images
sign, it would help me to complete my project.

I will enclose a picture of the machine before the sign was ruined.

Thanks for your help.

Answer
Hi Jeff,

Sorry but I do do anything in the soda machine world but there are part suppliers who my have this decal, here is one site:

http://www.fun-tronicsllc.com/index.php?crn=323&start=1

I would send them a photo of what you need and see if they have one on a machine or if they reproduce this. They also have a great parts catalog that you can order!

Thanks

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
