My family and I have an AMI jukebox. From doing a little google research I believe that it is a Model B. The power works and I can see the turntable spinning inside. My grandpa recently passed away and if anyone knew a thing about the jukebox, it would've been him. We are looking to sell it and was wonder what a good asking price was.
I've attached a picture
Thank you for your time,
Sarah
Answer Hi Sarah,
It is, it is the AMI Model B made from 1948 to 49. Plays 78 rpm records. I have some information on how to grade your jukebox and then figure out its value, if you would like to have that, just email me at jackpot7@q.com and I'll return it with your email, my email is Jackpot7@q.com There are 5 grades and the five values for this jukebox are: MODEL B- 1948-49 3500 2500 1200 550 330, high being completely restored and the low being just parts. If you email me the information I'll send you will clear this up for you and tell you just how to grade it. I wish you lived next door because this would be a neat box to buy and have around, Grandpa had great taste and I can almost see him rocking around that great old jukebox! Thanks for the photo.
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com
Experience
I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
