Question
Hello,
We have a Standard Johnson Co. electric coin counting machine which is taking up space and would like to know what it is worth. The model is AW No. 420. It works, but needs to be "tuned up".

Hi Jackie,
This is not a antique coin operated machine, but I'll try to help anyway. A few years ago I did see these hand crank or electric coin counters selling for around 350 to 400.00. The best way to price this in todays market is to do a search for them on ebay, as you find them make short cuts so you can go back after the auction closes and see what they are selling for. I am sure you can find one just like yours if you look for awhile. Hope this helps you get an idea as to what it's value might be.

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
