Question
We have a 1930's Gottlieb called Summer Time in excellent condition.  Runs perfect.

I would like to know the value.

Answer
Hi Dee,

On these older games value is anyones guess. I see them sell on average from about 300.00 up with maybe 500.00 average unless the game is unique or in like brand new condition. I am not sure if we have the right game here, I found it but it shows as a 1940 game, please take a look at this link and let me know if this is the game you have, also I am sure you will enjoy the information on it:

The real money is in the flipper games right now, the early wood rail type games like this seam to sell around 500.00 +-.

I hope this give you some idea of value. There is a pinball expo at the Seattle center this weekend, see:

There might be a ton more information there or maybe a buyer?

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
