Question I have recently acquired a Williams - Seeburg slot machine made 11-13-74. It is a stars and bars machine. Do you anyone who might have the glass to replace the broken and wrong glass that is in the machine? I am going to get the manual from the sugar Shack site as soon as I fing out if I can get the replacement glass. Dont want to spend more $$ on a machine that is not worth a whole lot at the state it is in. I have repaired it and it is running ok now. The glass will make the difference. Has a generic belly " Slots a Fun" in it and a Bally glass for the reels. The top glass is the only correct on e and it is cracked. Thanks for the time.
I don't know where your going to find glass for that older slot machine, I am sure it might be around somewhere and if you knew what it looked like you could send photo's to some of the larger slot machine dealers to see if they might have it in stock somewhere. Williams/Seeburg is not that common of a machine so that will make a search much harder. I would watch ebay under antique slot machine parts or glass and see what you can find. I wish I know someone dealing in these but I don't, but I do see them around and there a good working machine and well worth saving. If I think of something I'll revise this posting so you will be notified and can read it below this entry. Sorry David, sometimes finding parts like this will take a lot of digging and sending out a Lot of emails to dealers asking for Seeburg slot machine glass. You might try this site and run a add in there classified section, it's free, the site is at:
I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
