Collectibles-General (Antiques)/corrected question on platform rocker

I have tried to locate this chair online or a similar style and in only finding the Victorian or East Lake styles.  The scroll work on this chair is what makes me curious to finding more informationand possible quote. I refinish pieces and this piece is already in process finishing, not restoration. it appears to have had a very heavy stain and lacquer applied which I'm guessing isn't original. Please let me know any information related to this piece and what an as-is price would possibly be so that I can figure my work on top of that.  I just feel there is something a little more special about this piece and want to ensure future buyers understand it's history and value. Thank you!

it is in the victorian and Empire style but was manufactured around 1900-1920.  This was part of a parlor set which would have included a loveseat and at least one side chair or arm chair.

The wood is birch and probably figured birch.  The finish and staining is original.  This period and style was colored originally to look like mahogany.

retail with original coating cleaned and waxed would be around 450$.

In regards to American antique, vintage and collectible furniture I can help with wood identification, styles, age, periods, historical coatings, materials, techniques, repair, restoration, refinishing, and value. I do not study mid century and later furniture nor do I deal in lamps, and other smalls. You may ask for values and I will give you current market values, I will not give you 'feel good' values. Understand that there are many factors that contribute to market value. If you want a feel good, unrealistic number, please call a local inexperienced appraiser. It is my desire to help you and in doing so I increase my knowledge as well. For that I thank you.

I have been in the antiques furniture and restoration business and in the sales of antique furniture for 40+ years and have continued my education in the trade attending workshops and seminars by various organizations, institutions, and private collectors.
