I bought this great vintage gumball machine just yesterday but can't find any markings at all. Can you tell me anything about it? i would love to know a date or manufacturers name.
It has a glass globe, takes pennies and has a chute dispenser without a door. It is metal and stands at about 14" tall. The globe is a round 8".
Thanks for anything you can tell me

Answer
Gallia,

You have a nice machine manufactured by the Advance Machine Company.  Your version was used in the 1920's and 30's.  It is known to collectors as a Advance Model D.  They are valued at $100-175 among collectors. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
