Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Cleveland treadle sewing machine

Question
I recently acquired a treadle sewing machine.  It is marked Cleveland in gold paint on the black metal sewing machine.  (The worn label appears to note it as a model C.) The wrought iron framework says Standard in metal letters.  The oak cabinet has four drawers with heart-shaped openings for use as drawer pulls. A number of accessories were found in the drawers, including a small black metal box with "Greist" attachments.  It appears that the only hindrance to it being operable is a good cleaning, and a new belt.  Would you have any idea of this machine's value?  Also, I would like to restore it to operating condition, and am wondering if you have access to a manual and/or any other information that can help me to do just that.

Answer
Hello,
Please review my past questions and answers re: sewing machines.
My expertise is in TOY machines not those used for general daily sewing.  I keep receiving questions on general sewing machines and I'm afraid that I'm really not an expert on these.
If you review past questions and answers I have however provided numerous links to other websites that may help in your quest for information.  I also found a website that lists manuals and it too is listed under my queries.
Sorry I could not be of more help to you and good luck.
Irene

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
