Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Coke Vending Machine Estimated value

Question
Hello Rodger -

I would like to get a ball park figure on the value of a Coke
machine that I own.  I may sell it and don't want to get taken.

From a bit of research I've done online, it is a Vendo 110, solid
red (not 2-tone), and may have been made in 1955.  Here is info
I took off of plate on machine:
Model - H-110 B 55 10k  Serial Number - H-305 2718  Ref. Unit
VK3B.

It has an operating coin dispenser, and says 15 cents (the 15
cent plate looks original, but perhaps it once replaced a 10 cent
sign?)  The door opens on the right hand side.  The unit does
work and cool and all of the bottle "slots/racks" are inside and in
good condition.

There is some minor damage from vandalism - it looks like
someone tried to pry open the coin dispenser, the glass on the
right side door was shot by a BB gun and has a crack.  The lock
to the main door has a small dent as if someone tried prying it
open perhaps. Overall, it looks really good in my estimation and
these items of damge could be repaired fairly easily.

Finally, I curiously noticed that on either side of the machine are
old 7-UP signs.  They look as though they came with the
machine - they'e not metal or screwed onto the machine, but
rather appear to be "decals".

Any advice you might have would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Hi Randy,
My web site is at http://www.coinslots.com
I am not right up to date on the coke machines so give me a little time to look into it. Do you have any photo's that you could e-mail me? If so, e-mail them to jackpot7@ix.netcom.com

Thanks Randy

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
