Question
Hi,

Recently I have bought this item om auction as a "Liquor bottle" and did some research.

The hallmark at the bottom part shows:

D
Finnigan Ltd.
Manchester and Liverpool
7

I have found that Finnigans Ltd. was a Fine Leather goods, Travel accessories and silverware (flasks etc.) maker.

But I didn't find any info  about this item.

Any info about the value would be appreciated.

You can check the picture for the bottle here:

Thanks

This type of object was made in huge quantities by firms like Dixons of Sheffield, from c1850 til the late 20th century. EPBM suggests late 19th century. I suspect Finnigans were just retailing the object, not the makers.

Value - this type of object is VERY common, and of little interest to collectors, so just a few dollars.
