Collectibles-General (Antiques)/English Pewter

Question
Ive just recieved a set of small pewter cups or mini mugs of some sort. What makes it interesting is that it happens to have the enitials of a person from the Dupont family engraved into them. The bottom of these cups read, Ginera English pewter Sheffield England. Do you have any idea of what its worth, or what it is?

Answer
-

It is what it says - Sheffield made 'pewter' (more likely Britannia metal). Ginera is not a mark I've come across. No idea of their function, but almost certainly modern. Any value will be in the supposed DuPont provenance, which you will have to be able to prove.
