Question
I collect thimles and just purchased one yesterday that looks like brass. It says on it "Herman Majesty" Thimble
England.   What can you tell me about it?

Answer
Hello Karla.  Your thimble is brass and it should say "Her Majesty's Thimble" which is a brand name.  Although the thimble was made in England, it has no association with the queen or royalty.  They come in different sizes, but are not marked as such.  They are quite common so do not bring a high price.  Barbara
