Question
was looking at a couple of pieces today that were very heavy, claimed to be brass, possible, they were gray though like lead, but were still likely to be lead depending on materials. These ducks had a label on the bottom that read " GATCO MADE IN CHINA SOLID BRASS. i HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE INTERNET TRYING TO FIND A RESOURCE SUCH AS THIS ONE, NOW IT IS IN MY FAVORITES. these ducks were of different sizes, one about 12" and 5" high the other about 2/3 the scale they also had some brass leaves adorning them.

Gatco has a website: http://www.gatco-inc.com/

These will be modern (made in last 10 years) - so most certainly not antiques, and of absolutely no interest or value.

Brass does not have to be deep yellow, though these may be plated - explore their website for info. (BTW, it took me 0.1 seconds to find the website with google!)
