Question
I have an old child's jukebox that the bottom lights up. It played at the 75 or 72 speed. (I'm not sure which.)  I received this for Christmas in the middle 60's.  It is trimmed in red.  I would like to have it fixed (the arm is missing the wires and it needs a needle.)  other than that it works.  How much would this cost and what is the value of such a jukebox.

Answer
Hi Annette,
    If this is a true antique jukebox collectable item I my be able to answer some of your questions. I deal in coin operated commercial machines, and if this is a toy for a child I don't think I will know anything about it of much help. First I would have to try to identify it. Can you e-mail a photo? This would help a whole bunch in trying to find out just what this is. Please let me know if you can e-mail or send a photo. My e-mail address for sending photos is;

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
