Question

Lamp
I inherited this lamp recently from my Father, all i know is that they received it as a gift in 1974 from a friend who had a antiques/collectible store.

Answer
Hi, the lamp is also from the early 70s. These type lamps were popular during that period. That style mimicked the old gone with the wind oil lamps from the 1800s and early 1900s. Of course yours is electric. Often I have found the date embossed in the metal under the base. The primary metal is pot-metal. The round part that holds the shade is brass plated. Thanks
