Question
I FOUND IT IN MY CELLAR. ITS RED SQUARISH GLOBE, NO STAND NO CRACKS BUT HAS SEVERAL AREAS OF RUST. THE BOTTOM IS RED. I REMEMBER USING IT IN THE 60S AS A KID. MY DAD HAD 2. ONE WITH CANDY, ONE WITH CASHEWS. I THINK THIS ONE HAD CASHEWS AS THE INSIDE IS PRETTY DIRTY. UNFORTUNATELY, I DONT HAVE A KEY TO OPEN IT AND WOULD LOVE TO REFURBISH IT AND CLEAN UP THE INSIDE. HOW CAN I GET IT OPEN OR GET A KEY?  IS IT WORTH ANYTHING? I DONT REALLY WANT TO SELL IT. JUST WANT TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE AND DISPLAY IT.  THANK YOU

Answer
If the globe is glass, you have a Northwestern model 60.  A locksmith should be able to pick open the lock and make a key.  It is worth about $20 in rough condition up to around $100 in nicely restored condition.
Good Luck,
