Question
I am interested in purchasing an antique gumball machine from ebay.  The ebay description is copied below.  Could you please tell me your thoughts on this particular gumball machine.  You can probably search ebay and see the pictures of this machine.
Antique Advance Machine Co. Penny Gumball Machine

This is an exceptional example of a rare circa 1920's Advance Machine Co. Penny Gumball Machine

This machine is fully functional and the globe is intact with no cracks

The lock on the coin box operates smoothly and 2 keys are included

The front faceplate is somewhat tarnished but the patent dates, 11-5-12, 9-11-17, and 4-24-23 remain clearly visable.

Answer
Hello, I looked up the machine on ebay, and that seems to be a pretty fair price even at the $99.  They are normally in the $110-$120 range.  The only down fall the machine has is that the front face is normally chrome plated and that is pretty much worn away.  There was also a wall bracket on the back of the machine where the two holes are, and that is also missing.  You can purchase wall brackets every so often on ebay for about $15.  If I were you I would put in an offer of around $80 and see what happens.....Good Luck and please let me know if you need any other info...
   Thank you
