Question
My hubby has a penny scale he inherited from his mother. It is very old. On the front it just says, How Much Do You Weigh and Patent Applied For. Then on the part you stand on it says Watling Scales Chicago. I was wondering if you know about how much it is worth. We aren't thinking of getting rid of it, but would like to know about what it is worth. Please get back if you could.

Scales are hard, and for some reason I am getting tons of questions about them. It would help me tremendously if you could e-mail me a photo, as there are hundreds of different models of scales and it would be almost imposable to detect which model you have, at lest I would need a very detailed description of it. I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
