Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Penny Weight Scale

Question
Thanks for anything you can find out.  Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera to take a picture of it but am trying to borrow someone's to be able to send you one if I can find somebody to help me out!!  It might take me a day or 2 but let me see what I can do about getting you a picture.  This thing is so neat and in such great condition.  I have personally never seen anything like it.  It's got to be from the 40's-50's if not older!  We have just been displaying it in the game room right now because it's so cool and have many people ask about it.  But honestly I am looking to sell it, but have no clue what price to ask for it.  Let me know if you have other questions - there are some numbers and other information on it if that would be helpful too.

I found a penny weight scale machine made by Pace Manufacturing Company in Chicago, Illinois.  It says "Bantam" on it as well.  It's about 4 foot tall, off-white/beige with black trim.  The top is chrome and lists the "average" height and weight for males or females.  You, of course, insert the penny and it gives the person's weight.  It appears to be very accurate.  I can't seem to find information on the net.  It's in extremely good condition and would like to know any information you might have and the value of it.  It was found in an old pool hall. Thanks - looking forward to your reponse.

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
