What does ER Mean?
Is it Possible to get a precise Date?

Looking forward to hearing your reply.

Well done so far - 6 is the UV number for Birmingham, which is where G&C had their workshops.

ER = Edward Rex, for Edward VII, who reigned 1901-10. This period is consistent with G&C's working dates.

Hope that helps.
