Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Pewter Marking question

Question
Hello -

I have a coffee and tea pot that both have a crown/rose marketing with an RP in the center.  There is also a R Pompe stamped in the middle so I figured out it was Robert Pompe - now for my question.  There is a third stamp that has an angel with a spear killing a creature with webbed feet and hands. This also has an RP.

I was told the pieces were from 1900, is that accurate?  What does the angel/webbed man stamp mean?

Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,
Melissa Grace

Made in Brussels, and the date is OK, though having seen a few of these pieces, personally I say more like 1910-30.

The marks are just the maker's marks. Crowned roses were used by pewterers in many parts of Europe for hundreds of years. And angels are also a common device, though I do not know what this particular mark represents - presumably it refers to some mythological or religious tale.
