Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Pewter Marks

Question
I bought some pewter at an auction here in Alaska and one plate which is about 11.5" diameter has 4 Marks.  The first looks like a moose with horns set against horizontal stripes, the second is a capital T, the Third is V9 and the fourth is two interlocking circles. Do you have any information on this piece?  Thanks, Cliff

I don't recognise the marks you describe. These types of marks are pseudo-hallmarks, simulating silver hallmarks, but not carrying the same meaning - they are just supplementary maker's marks. But there should be other marks, perhaps a large oval or square mark, and perhaps a stamped label with a place or a name. If you find any other marks, get back to me and I shall try to help identify the maker.
