Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Pewter teapot

Question
HI,
i've acquired a pewter teapot. It has a flat bottom, a hinged lid with an oval "daisy" design. This also has the same design on the knob which i think may be out of bone.
The numbers underneath are:77
                          3229
                          4
with some sort of crest and 4 worn circular marks . Any idea of the age and value?

Thanks

Difficult to give any accurate estimate given the lack of detail regarding marks. However, if it is pewter (in fact, Britannia metal: sheet pewter for fabrication) probably late 19th Century, and value just a few dollars/pounds.
