Question
I have a partially dissembled Strikes and Spares flipper machine.  Whe assembled, it works somewhat, but I am wondering who can restore it and it's worth.  Tha back glass is in primo condition.  Thank You.

Answer
Hi, Your Bally Strikes and Spares of 1978 is one of the early games of the Electronic Era which started around 1977.  Bally's computer system was very dependable, leading to increased sales and gloom for their competitors.  You mention the nice condition backglass, and it's a funny thing, but all those 1960-70's Bally backglasses typically survived in great shape!  The must have used some super paint!  The best place to find a pinball service technician is to look in the local yellow pages under Amusement Devices.  Your game in nice working condition is worth between $500-700.  Best of luck!   Larry      www.coinoplibrary.com
