Question
I would like to know the value of a Samuel Ellis pewter charger. 15 inches across Is marked on the back with 2 crowns a flower, also an animal which we can't make out. His last name we can make out but the first name is faded. London is also on the back. And some other marks. Thank you for any information.  Sincerely, Shelba Anderson

As a general rule, I do not answer queries that are solely concerned with value. If you have no interest in the date, origin, history, etc., I assume you are merely a trader seeking to make a buck and looking for free advice. Through my website, you can request a valuation, for which a fee will be charged: www.antique-metalware.co.uk
