Question
QUESTION: Hi,
A woman in my husband's office has a Seaburg Jukebox Series 100 that does 100 45's.  She believes it dates to 1957.  It has a glass roll front.  She bought in 1967, has original manual and it is in perfect condition.  She has only had to replace a flourescent light once.  Any ideas of what the value may be?
Thanks
Terri Beck

ANSWER: Hi Terri,
I sure can but I need the correct model number as there are several different 100 models, can you ask her to get the full model number off the serial number tag, it's a metal plate on the back or sides.I just need the full model number and not the serial number. Thanks
Sincerely

Answer
Hi Terri,
I am still on my weekend, I have Sunday and Monday off. I am an Locomotive Engineer for a Railroad. Good information here and we are ready to roll. Nice jukebox!, the Seeburg 100 J/JL made in 1955 and plays 100 selections, 45 rpm and has a light color scheme. They Produced 4,300 of these units. Now for the value thing, grades 3, 4, 5 are more wholesale values for what a dealer might pay for it. Grades 1 and 2 are retail value for what you would expect to pay for it from a dealer, grade 1 is for a completely restored jukebox, I mean perfect and almost better then new. Grade 2 is for a great working box that maybe has an older restoration, very nice, very good working jukebox. Hers might be in this area if it's as nice as it sounds, I would guess that this would be it's value or maybe somewhere under this. Here's the prices and the grades.
1. $5,500.00 Restored
2. $4,100.00 Refurbished

3. $2,300.00 As is Good wholesale to dealer.
4. $  750.00 Poor not working to dealer.
5. $  390.00 Parts box

There it us, all is in a nutshell. I hope this helps you and answers all your questions, if not, you know my number and I'll be glad to answer any other questions.
Thank You
Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Please email photo's to: jackpot7@ix.netcom.com My web site is at: http://www.coinslots.com

Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
