Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Seeburg B-100 Repair

Question
I have a 1951 Seeburg Model 100-B in need of repair. During international shipping, the box had the glass dome cracked and this will require proper replacement.

There are other problems including a lack of volume and suspect wiring requiring attention.

Cosmetically the box is in excellent shape (excluding the now cracked dome) and the mechanicals work flawlessly.

I am looking for someone to properly repair this box that I have treasured for over 20 years. I now live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada.

Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Jeff,

I am in the U.S. but there is a place close to you, there web site is at
http://www.flippers.com

The place is in Vancouver, it's called John's Jukes and it should be in the phone book. Years ago when the exchange rate was great, I bought a Wurlitzer 1100 from him. I still have it! Anyway, he, I am sure can get you fixed up with what you need for your jukebox. I hope this is what your were looking for.
Thank You
Sincerely

Expertise

I am an expert on old coin operated machines, slot machines, trade stimulator's, jukeboxes, old arcade machines, etc. I have been identifying these for people who respond to my web site listed below, for a few years now. In almost all cases I am able to tell them about their old coin operated machines, the year, the value, and other general information about their machines. I do not know much about soda vending machines, coin banks, or scales, but I will try to help you with these if I can. Experience

I bought my first slot machine, a .50 Cent Mills Black Cherry in 1969 and have been hooked from that time, I still have that Slot machine! Before that I found a open barrel full of old scraped jukebox wall boxes behind a restaurant, I wanted them all but never took a one of them. Anything that took a coin drove me nuts!
