Collectibles-General (Antiques)/Small brass lion artist's stamp

Question
In the early fifties my mother collected a small brass lion stamp with a Chinese? character on the bottom.  She believed it was a stamp used by artists to mark their work.  Is there any value to such an item?

At the point where you typed in this question, you saw a note from me asking for NO MORE QUESTIONS ABOUT ORIENTAL BRASS!

However, since you have asked, these things are just name stamps, very common, nothing to do with artists. In later years they were made as tourist souvenirs. Value negligible.
