Question
I bought this machine at a garage sale,30 yrs ago,and now have no room and am thinking of selling it. its in an oak cabinet, which says standard, and the machine inside says standard. i beleive it to be what they call a rotory, and its top lifts up and down raisng up the machine.there are also some attachments in the drawer, one box is not labled, but another box is for a white machine, and is black metal. everything works, and is a pretty peice of furniture.

Answer
Hello Diane,
Please view my question and answer sheet.  You will find links to websites that will give you detailed information about these sewing machines.

It is not possible to accurately appraise items over the internet. Your best bet would be to take good photos of your cabinet and machine and take them to an antique dealer in your area. Or some dealers will visit you personally (free of charge) to look at your items.
Enjoy your day.

Expertise

I have been a collector of antique sewing tools and thimbles for over 30 years. I am also a dealer in this field and sell on eBay under the name -- serengeti2. I am NOT, and I repeat NOT an expert on antique or vintage domestic household sewing machines used for everyday home sewing. I can offer help when it comes to TOY or miniature collectible sewing machines ONLY.
